Donna called us today while in possession of a broken iPhone 7 screen in Dubai. This broken iPhone became broken this past weekend when she was out with friends walking in Dubai Mall. When she reached into her purse to grab her wallet, the iPhone 7 came flying out and landed hard on the concrete floor. The result you can see in the photo.
Like many times before, Donna was not happy with the cracks now running through her iPhone 7 screen. It was not fun to look at and not fun to run your fingers over. Walking around with a broken iPhone in Dubai is never a fun time. Knowing that that broken iPhone was the result of a car running it over is doubly never a fun time. Such was the case with Kevin this week. Having accidentally dropped his new iPhone while getting out of his car and then not noticing it was missing until 20 minutes later, Kevin walked back to where he thought he may have lost it. Sure enough, it was there. Several meters away from the driver side door of his car. Sadly, it looked a lot different from when he last saw it. A car, or two, or three probably ran over it leaving it looking like the picture above. It was cracked, to say the least. And Kevin was devastated. He had only owned this iPhone for a few weeks and was now looking at an iPhone that appeared to have dropped from the top of Burj Khalifa. Kevin needed a screen repair Dubai.
He was not happy at himself. How could he have done such a thing. Miraculously it still turned on. There appeared to be some glimmer of hope for his poor iPhone. For Kim, this is her third time breaking her iPhone 6S screen in Dubai. Each time she has dropped her iPhone 6S only to pick it up with a broken screen has broken her heart. It is a devastating experience dropping and cracking the screen on your iPhone. Friends have done it. Family members have done it. Coworkers have done it. Yet, when you are the victim of a fallen iPhone, it tends to sting a lot harder.
Kim gave us a call the other day in tears. After reaching in her purse to retrieve her iPhone when she heard it ringing, the edge of the phone must have caught one of the corners of her purse and caused her to drop the phone down to the concrete ground. How many drops does it take to finally break the screen on an iPhone. Steve, unfortunately, was the one who had to find out the hard way. Having been in possession of his iPhone 5C for all of three days, without accumulating any drops, he finally figured out that it takes just one drop to cracked the screen on his iPhone. No fun!
As you can see from the picture above, the result pretty much destroyed the entire phone. He couldn’t text. He couldn’t call. He couldn’t let his friends know that he was going to be out of commission for a short while. The drop/crack/destroyed iPhone happened when he was getting out of his car before work yesterday morning. The iPhone had been resting on his lap when he pulled into his usual spot. After turning off the ignition and grabbing his mug of coffee, the first step out the door caused his iPhone to go crashing to the ground – completely rendering the iPhone useless.
Disheartened, he walked through the company doors and up the elevator. Once he reached his desk he began looking for iPhone repair services in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
